Yet another event religated to the virtual realm, we needed a way to make an otherwise infomation-packed presentation compelling and captivating. Introducing Blippi, host of YouTube Kids’ most-watched channel, who emerged as our clear choice amoung several top talent contenders. With his distinctive personality and infectious enthusiasm, Blippi injected an unparalleled level of energy and excitement into the show. Not only did this collaboration elevate the overall impact of the event, but it also served as a powerful endorsement for advertisers. With over 100 million views, Blippi is the golden ticket to ad reach.  

Writing Blippi’s role into the script was both a fun and challenging task. Dive into the details of our creative process below to learn how we incorporated Blippi’s unique persona into the production, setting the stage for an unforgettable advertiser’s presentation.

Look & Feel

A debate over using the YouTube or YouTube Kids brand style ensued at the beginning of the project. The winner being a mix-mash of both brands with a splash of  customized type treatments and super-cute illustrated graphics.

 

Integrating Talent

So how did we weave Blippi’s big personality into a script brimming with information presented by 6 speakers each with their own content sections? In this case, working within the bounds of a virtual final product and filming inside Google’s LA office gave us an advantage. Leveraging the location and event as a place for Blippi to explore and show off, and strucutred it just like he does in his own show. Blippi begins outside of the building, telling the viewer fun facts about the name, Spruce Goose and its size. This sets the stage for him later getting lost while exploring the building allowing his persona to be injected into the script at key moments.
